Applications are invited from eligible candidates to work as Junior Research Fellow in the project entitled "Some Studies on Static and Dynamic Properties of Classical and Quantum Ising Model" funded by CSIR under the supervision of Prof. Subinay Dasgupta, Department of Physics, Calcutta University. Tenure of the project is upto 31st March, 2011.
Candidates should have a master's degree in Physics from a recognised Uni- versity with 55% marks and should have passed NET/GATE test.
Upper age limit is 28 years as on the day of application. A small relaxation in age limit may be considered, in the case of applicants who are suitably qualified and experienced, on the recommendations of the selection committee. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women/PH candidiates.
Remuneration: Rs. 12000/- + admissibe allowance as per norms of the institution.
Two separate sets of complete application furnishing bio-data on plain paper with attested copies of testimonials should reach the office of the Secretary, Faculty council for PG studies in Science, Technology and Agriculture, CU,on or before June 24th, 2009.
