Admission to M.Sc. Programmes 2012-2013

Applications are invited for Admission to M.Sc. (Physics/Chemistry/Operations Research and Computer Applications) programmes for the year 2012 – 2013
Candidates can apply for M.Sc. programmes through the downloaded application form only. Application and information brochure are available below. The filled up application form along with enclosures and a non refundable registration fee of Rs.300/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities) by means of Demand Draft drawn not earlier than 27th April, 2012 in favour of “Director, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli- 620 015” payable at Tiruchirappalli should reach Dean (Academic), National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli-620015, Tamil Nadu on or before 25th May, 2012.

National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappally has invited applications for Admission to MSc (Physics / Chemistry / Operation Research and Computer Application) programmes for the year 2012-13.
ELIGIBILILTY FOR ADMISSION TO MSc PROGRAMMES :
A minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in the qualifying examination for OP / OBC and 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA of 6.0 for SC / ST candidates. Final semester students can also apply provided their final marks are made available on or before 15th September, 2012. Such candidates may be considered for provisional admission. However, these candidates must have successfully passed with 60% mark in one to four semesters or two years of B.Sc. on the date of application.
The application must include attested copies of mark lists and bonafide certificate from the Head of the Institution in the prescribed format. Any candidate admitted provisionally, subject to his/her producing provisional certificate and marklists as proof of having satisfied the eligibility criteria, shall have to discontinue the course, if he/she does not produce the provisional certificate and mark lists on or before 15th September, 2012.
