Integrated MS-PhD program Admissions Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Mohali
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali invites applications from prospective candidates for admission to the Integrated MS-PhD Program in the areas of
Biology,
Chemistry,
Mathematics and
Physics
for the session beginning in August 2012.
The program will involve course work as well as research work. Successful completion of the program will lead to an MS degree and a PhD degree.
Eligibility Criteria for Integrated MS-PhD program
The applicant should have a Basic degree in Science/ B.Tech/ MBBS with a good academic record, and should have cleared one of the following National Examinations:
1. General: MSc, Integrated PhD Entrance Test: JAM of IIT’s; or any other entrance test for an MS/ MSc program at a reputed institute or university.
2. Mathematics: NBHM MSc fellowship or NBHM PhD fellowship
3. Physics: Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST)
Students who hold a DST INSPIRE fellowship or a KVPY scholarship are also eligible.
Application Procedure: Prospective candidates should apply online using the “Online Application Facility” by visiting the website at http://www.iisermohali.ac.in.
Short-listed candidates will be invited for a screening-test/interview at IISER Mohali.
