Attention JEST 2009 Candidates! Interviews at IPR!!
interviews those candidates who have qualified in JEST 2009 and
also satisfy all the 3 (THREE) following criteria:
1. Your JEST 2009 percentile score is above or equal to 90.33
2. Your Date of Birth is on or after 1 Sept, 1983
3. You have a Master's Degree or will have a Master's Degree
by Aug 31, 2009 in Physics/Engineering Physics/Applied Physics
with a mininum of 55% marks.
[N.B. Candidates with just a bachelor's degree like B.Sc
and Engineers, whether B.E. or M.E., are NOT eligible for doing
PhD in Physics at IPR]
Those who satisfy the above said criteria can attend the Interviews
at IPR as follows:
The Interviews will be held for 4 (four) days between 19 May 2009
and 22 May 2009 (both days inclusive) starting at 10.00 AM
Decide on a date that is convenient to you and intimate us (email to
silel@ipr.res.in) atleast 1 (one) week in advance. Then just report at
IPR by 9.30 A.M. on the day of your choice. You will be interviewed
on the same day.
We regret that IPR will not be able to provide the Candidates appearing
for inteviews with any accomodation. So you may come prepared to make
your own arrangements as necessary in Ahmedabad.
If you qualify for interviews, you can expect a call letter from IPR
within 30 days but meanwhile proceed with making the necessary travel
arrangements.
